Course content

8 sections · 30 lectures

What the board actually assesses 3 lectures
  1. 1.1 Three hours, forty-five minutes, forty minutes
  2. 1.2 Two steps, two invoices, and a calendar measured in quarters
  3. 1.3 The six domains, and the seventh that appears on no other Salesforce exam guide
Reading the scenario 4 lectures
  1. 2.1 A scenario is not a requirements document
  2. 2.2 The first thirty minutes: a triage pass that finds the four decisions everything else hangs off
  3. 2.3 Requirements you answer, requirements you challenge, and the ones that are there to see whether you notice
  4. 2.4 Assumptions: the defensible kind, and the kind that is a way of not answering
Solutioning against a clock 5 lectures
  1. 3.1 Order of attack: why the data model goes first
  2. 3.2 Org strategy and licence mix: the decision that constrains every decision after it
  3. 3.3 Security and identity, internal and external
  4. 3.4 Integration: choosing a pattern you can defend in one sentence, and the middleware question
  5. 3.5 The last forty minutes, and the third of the outline nobody reaches
Drawing it 3 lectures
  1. 4.1 Five drawings, and what each one has to prove on its own
  2. 4.2 A landscape diagram a judge can read in fifteen seconds
  3. 4.3 Drawing under a clock in a blank canvas, with no template and no AI
Presenting 4 lectures
  1. 5.1 Forty-five minutes is not a walk through your slides
  2. 5.2 Saying the trade-off out loud before anybody asks for it
  3. 5.3 The parts you did not finish, and how to land the plane honestly
  4. 5.4 Rehearsal that transfers, and the two things you cannot practise alone
The Q&A, where it is actually decided 4 lectures
  1. 6.1 Forty minutes of questions is not an interrogation
  2. 6.2 "Why not the other one?"
  3. 6.3 Being wrong mid-answer, and the roadblock question that changes your scenario at minute thirty
  4. 6.4 The three answers that fail: hand-waving, over-claiming, and the limit you invented
Ellersby, end to end 4 lectures
  1. 7.1 The scenario as a candidate receives it
  2. 7.2 A worked solution, decision by decision, with every trade-off named out loud
  3. 7.3 The panel's questions on that solution, and answers that survive them
  4. 7.4 The other solution that would also have passed, and the one that would not
Getting to the board 3 lectures
  1. 8.1 The ladder, honestly costed and calendared
  2. 8.2 A preparation plan you can run alongside a job, and where real scenarios come from
  3. 8.3 After a fail, after a pass, and what this credential does and does not buy you

Requirements

  • The architect-track courses, or equivalent senior architecture experience
  • Real delivery experience on Salesforce programmes

Description

The Review Board is not a longer exam, and this course treats it as what it is — an assessed presentation under time pressure. What the board actually assesses, reading the scenario, solutioning against a clock, drawing it, presenting it, and the Q&A, where it is genuinely decided.

Ellersby is taken end to end as a full rehearsal, and the final module is about the route to the board itself.

Who this course is for

  • Senior architects preparing for the Salesforce Technical Architect review board.
